So here is me finally finding the look I was going for, and putting a bunch of stuff together that’s been hanging about in my inventory, without a home. First off, this great hair style from Doe. Rather casual…to me, and I wanted it to go with a dressed down look. The leggings from miss chelsea and sleeveless top from Coco fits the bill perfectly. THEN FLF happened, and I finally had the shoes I knew would work. This great style from Livalle came in basic black and the red polka dots style for $50L. You can’t beat that with a stick! The red worked perfectly with my look. I decided to pull in a bit more red with the great clutch from Cest la vie. A note about the great clutch…you can adjust the size! This was fantastic because when I first rezzed it, I thought, damn that’s too big for my avi. Welp, I thought hey maybe…and YEP there was a size change script in it. Good deal. Last but not least I’m not super close in these pics but I’m wearing another great new release from Matt & Gloss, Hazy Hues eye shadow! Anyway, I love this look, and sadly, I can only wear it till I want to blog my next look! As always, all my pics are on FLICKR, and you can get full outfit credits and SLURLS at the bottom of this article. HAPPY SPRING!

So, how do you do casual in SL? This is pretty much my go to look, especially if I’m shopping or hanging with friends. Or building, or re-decorating my skybox. I’m literally always redecorating my sky box.
I love this great casual set by miss Chelsea. It fits perfectly. This whole look is pretty much Fifty Linden Fridays (FLF), and if you’re new to SL, you simply must join this group. Great fun can be had for as little as 50L, and you get to discover a whole bunch of new shops in SL. The hair is Wasabi Pills and the flip flops are by Livalle, and if they can’t get you thru the entire SL summer, I don’t know what will! For those not in the know, FLF is a 24 hour sale. The list goes out roughly Thursday evenings, or 12:00 a.m. Friday, and the sale features a variety of shops. The owners of the shop will put out a new OR an older item in a new color or ‘refreshed’ somehow, for the low low price of $50L. It’s a fun sale, and can be even more fun if you take a friend as you teleport around the grid. Have fun! As always, all my pictures can be found on Flickr, and the outfit credits are below the cut!
And where is Mouse taking these pictures?

So I had a rough night and got lost. Mistakes were made. Not with my hair of course, it’s fricken perfect (but why is your hair red, mouse? don’t ask!!!). But other than that, what happened? I’m a mess! Definitely stumbling away, this is the walk of shame… The perfect hair is from Dichotomy and the great messed up business attire is from NYU. I love both. Especially the shirt falling off my shoulder. FOR SHAME MOUSE. Shame. Shame. Shame.
As always, all my pics can be found on Flickr. All outfit credits are at the bottom of this post!
Where in the heck is Mouse, and how’d she get so lost?

A lot of times, when I’m doing pictures in SL, I try to get my av to convey a certain emotion, which is not easy because my av mostly has resting bitch face! However, since I’ve gotten the new bento head, I’ve branched out a bit more and I find myself playing with the animation HUD that came with my Catwa head. It does inspire me to consider buying the more advanced one from Catwa, but I just blew 3K at the ARCADE on a single gacha sooooo…It can wait a bit. In the mean time, I have been playing with the animation HUD. I find that getting a good action shot might take some practice. However, if I train the camera on my av in an already good pose, I can get a good emotive feeling. That’s what happened here. I love these pics, they are pretty much what I want ALL my pics to be. They bring me joy, so they are JOY! The lighting is what I want, the poses, the landscape etc. It helps to have great stuff to show off. I picked up the outfit from Coco at Fameshed, a favorite event and designer of mine. The shoes were an FLF STEAL from Laville. I also want to draw attention to the jewelry I’m wearing in the shots. I will say again, as a former SL jeweler, I know of what I speak. Yummy is simply doing the best jewelry in SL. Flat out. The necklace is a simple concoction, but I love the mix and match of things. Of greater interest to me are the rings I’m wearing. These are simply stunning. I included a close up so you can see the work on these, the attention to detail. The rings are in a gacha at the ARCADE. Run, don’t walk.
As always, the entire series of pics can be found on my Flickr. Outfit credits and Slurls to where you can pick up these fabulous things are at the end of this post.
Where in the world is MOUSE? Find out after the cut!

So, I’m trying to keep a positive attitude these days. In Second Life and in Real Life. It has me thinking about doors. Opening doors on the future, closing doors on the past. Moving forward. So that’s the theme of this post. Lots of beautiful things to be had in SL these days. I needed all new makeup for my new Catwa head, so I purchased the February Powder Pack Subscription Box. Buying it before the deadline is 1/2 price – now it’s at full price. I thought it was a good deal, gave me lots of cool make up for a low price. Quality varies, so caveat emptor! The shoes are from Livalle, and you really cannot beat the deal, which was a FATPACK for $50L for Fifty Linden Fridays. You can view all my photos, past and present, on my Flickr account. As usual outfit credits with SLurls are below.
