Bella Signora Italiana! or…Oh Italy!

Mouse_inItaly6

Ah Bella!  I don’t know why but this whole post is built around a dress that I like very much  from Ana Markova.  What a fantastic texturing job!  I love it.  This dress makes me think of old movies in Rome where Sophia Loren slaps someone’s face.  Does not matter WHO!  This dress makes me nostalgic.   I paired it with, kismet really, a great hair from Clawtooth called Cherry Bomb.  Oh and the other big change?  I’m wearing a different skin!  SEE I can be different!  It was in my February Powder Pack and it’s Leta by Modish.  It’s simply lovely.  Great jewelry from CAE and Maxi Gossamer finishes the look.  Ok, who can I slap?

As always, you’ll find all my pictures on my Flickr, and full outfit credits at the end of this post!

Where in the world is Mouse?  Check it out after the cut!

Opening Doors

So, I’m trying to keep a positive attitude these days.  In Second Life and in Real Life.  It has me thinking about doors.  Opening doors on the future, closing doors on the past.  Moving forward.  So that’s the theme of this post.   Lots of beautiful things to be had in SL these days.  I needed all new makeup for my new Catwa head, so I purchased the February Powder Pack Subscription Box.  Buying it before the deadline is 1/2 price – now it’s at full price.   I thought it was a good deal, gave me lots of cool make up for a low price.  Quality varies, so caveat emptor!  The shoes are from Livalle, and you really cannot beat the deal, which was a FATPACK for $50L for Fifty Linden Fridays.  You can view all my photos, past and present, on my Flickr account.  As usual outfit credits with SLurls are below.

A new SL me.

So I FINALLY found a mesh head that I like,  with the help of Bento.  It’s been months, I know forgive me.  I could find little to be excited about over the last few months.  Then one night when I was bored, I decided to try the Catwa Mesh Head, Kimberly, with Bento capabilities.  What a great thing.  I was able to pick a head that I felt was close to my old SL face, and tweak it to look like ‘me.’  Anywho, here are the results!  As always see below for full credits!  Pics are also posted to my Flickr!

Just playing around

mouse_1

What’s up friends? So in today’s installment of Mouse puts on cute clothes in Second Life and takes pictures, we are looking at dress down Mouse.  I saw these GREAT casual pants and thought, oh I have a bunny backpack from Lark that NEEDS these pants.  The top is from a previous gacha, the sneaks are the requisite Fatewear.  Enjoy! As always the full credits for the outfit are listed at the bottom of this post.  The full series of pictures (let’s face it they are all pretty much the same…) can be found on my Flickr.  MAHWHAAAAA!  Oh and these pictures were taken in the Isle of Crystal Gardens.

A Fool for Love

mouse2

Nothing I like better than a perfect little spring dress from Tres Blah.  Of course I picked the green.  This came in such a variety of colors/combos, that I had a hard time choosing. But it’s Spring sooooo.  The hair is new from Magika, called, “Fool for Love.” and it is dreamy and romantic. The jewelry is a little something I picked up a while back because I thought is was adorably imaginative – a pearl collar – perfection.  As always, full credits are after the cut, and you can find the full set of pics from this series on my Flickr.

Just a little red

mouse1

Yes, today I wandered around this stunning sim.  So much fun.  Put together a cute outfit, I love red.  Naturally, the jacket is from a gacha, and just as naturally, I didn’t actually win it.  I only  THOUGHT I did.  So I blissfully went about planning this outfit, went to pull out the jacket and……I actually won a mini skirt.   Thank god for Tymmerie Thorne.  She rescued me and sent me the jacket.  We won’t mention her addiction to gacha though. Thank you Tymmerie!!!   Outfit credits are at the bottom of this post, and as always, all the pictures in this set are on my Flickr.

Disheveled

Naturally, I had to blog this dress.  Oh and this hair.  To me, they go together.  Somehow. I know, I know I’ve been away for a while.  I’m feeling much more energetic lately, and think I’ll be on a bit more.  Who knows!  The outfit credits are after the pics.  As always, the full set of pics for this series can be found on my flickr.  Please forgive anything blurry in the background, that texture reloading bug is a painful thing.

Dreamy, dreaming, dreamer…

I imagined this particular dress should be worn on a starry night, spinning round and round.  Of course in SL it’s possible to make this dream come true, but I would have needed a spinning emoticon, and then somehow figured out how to capture the shot.  I can only keep trying!

The Aftermath – the mesh body, part two.

So I do love my mesh body. Now I need clothes for it. I have pretty much ALL standard size clothing in my inventory, and as they say, do please try the demos! UGH! Welp I’ll be a shopping fool for a while.

Taking the plunge – the mesh body

Ok so, I’ve finally gone and done it.  I finally got a mesh body.
mouse5
I got a bunch of demos, tried a variety and finally settled on the Physique Mesh Body by SLink.  I like the body quite a bit, I already have the feet and hands, and I trust that the body will work for me. I found that I could play with the SL sliders and adjust various things to make it as close to my original shape as possible (already pretty much a standard medium).  I already had the Lara Hurley applier for my favorite skin, so that worked too.  I realized a couple of things as I started taking pictures of my hot new body (because let’s face facts..all bodies in SL are hot).  I would be spending a lot less time in photoshop fixing ragged edges on my avatar.  This can only be a good thing.  Clothing FITS me better.  Siddean provides free updates.  In other words, it’s all good, I can hardly go wrong. I thought that the price was reasonable!   And I’m already so far behind the curve on mesh that it was time to just do it.  I don’t know if I’ll involve myself with Mesh heads, but almost certainly NOT until the day they become editable.   So about the outfit.  I’ve had the pants and shoes for a while, and probably have worn them before in a post.  It’s the top I’m in love with.  Made by a new to me designer, Just Because, it fits wonderfully, and I love the color combo.  I expect to see great things from this designer in the future.  Anywho, I took a whole series of shots that you can find on my Flickr, and as always, outfit credits are below the pics.
