So, yet again, Project Themeory challenges me outside my comfort zone. This time round the theme is “punk.” And so, I made a necklace of buttons, which is something that I would have worn back in the day. I hope you like and enjoy it. The necklace is called, “Sedate Me” and it’s ONLY $75L. Here’s a teleport to the store!
Hello there, I am participating in the Festival of Sin and have a exclusive new release for the show! It’s the Avidita Set, a necklace, bangles and earrings set. It’s rather lush, as I was thinking ‘greed’ which is the section of the festival that you’ll find my wee shop in. I’ve put some of my other newer pieces in there too. I hope you’ll visit there are numerous designers there all with exclusive products you’ll ONLY find at the Festival! Here’s a teleport to the show. You arrive at a central TP point, and should enter the section titled, ‘Greed.’ My shop is across from a burning garbage can!
So, a thing happened to me in SL about 2 weeks ago, that I confess, caught me completely off-guard. I was in Natoma, visiting the Ivory Tower, when on the map, I noticed a large swatch of the sim Sage for sale. The price was dirt cheap, so I did the unthinkable and bought it. Why?? I don’t know why it was a complete impulse. But it felt right, and as a firm believer in going with your instincts, I did it. The area is sentimental for me. My first stop after escaping help island was Ambat. Next stop, Teal, where I was forever charmed by Bilbo’s hobbit hole and the particle lab. Sage is right next to Teal, I can see it from my new plot!
I won’t lie, many people will think I’m insane for purchasing mainland. I’m also right next to the Plum sandbox which seems to be constantly griefed. After a few days of omg, omg, I wondered what I would do with this land. Well I’ve finally fixed it up some (just ignore the 8 meter high full bright build on the plot next to mine), and I’ve moved my main store there. I am staying on Amira for just a bit longer, so I have two stores atm. Also, just so you know, my love for Kesseret is unchanging as always ;-). I hope you’ll come by and visit, I put the February group gift out on the table in the store for EVERYONE (see what I did there?). Here’s a teleport directly to the new store!
Well Etheria2 has exceeded my expectations in so many ways, and it officially ends tomorrow at midnight. I wanted to again thank all the designers who participated, and encourage you to visit the event. You can still do so by clicking this link for a teleport directly to the event. I also wanted to thank the many, many bloggers who covered the event, you truly made it a success! I leave you with my own simple collage of the event outfits!
Etheria2 is open!
One of the things that I enjoy most about Second Life is collaboration, I like the opportunity to work with people and to explore the various ideas that come up – sometimes those that are not possible in real life are the most exciting ones of all.
After much effort on the part of many, I can honestly say that I am honored and humbled by the designers who have agreed to participate in my little shindig. I asked 5 jewelry designers to join me in a collaborative effort I like to call Etheria! And they rose magnificently to the occasion. Each jewelry agreed to create a new piece, and then to ask a clothing designer friend of theirs to design an outfit to GO WITH their piece. Frankly, I’m floored. I think that you will be too! I invite you to stop by our old riverboat bordello and check out the collaborative efforts of these fantastic jewelers & clothing designers! I want to personally thank each and everyone of them:
Mouse Mimistrobell, Dark Mouse working with Sienia Trevellion, Lark!
I am grateful and delighted by their participation! I invite you to visit their individual blogs for details on their wondrous creations, and here’s an LM to the event so you can visit and see them up close and personal yourself! Click this link to teleport directly to Etheria!
In my own personal collaboration, I worked with Sienia Trevellion of Lark. I designed my own jewelry pieces around the ‘painted ladies’ theme, and it occurred to me that a painted lady would want to draw attention to herself. So I created a necklace that is sure to draw attention! I named it, “My Lady Love, and Sienia designed a dress that would accentuate the piece. The dress is called, “Bedroom Eyes,” and our intent was that the dress could be worn to evoke the feeling of the era, but would also have a modern feel. I hope you like, here’s some pictures of the items!
and the theme is….birds. I did sort of a cute headband with a hummingbird on it. I hope you like, it’s out in the store now, only $75L, here’s a teleport.
